General Questions
We are currently on our summer hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Wednesday to Friday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Our space is best suited for children ages 1-8.
Club Ned offers a fun, safe and unique indoor play experience with a focus on creativity, education and pretend play. Our different play areas are thoughtfully curated to keep your child engaged while they navigate social interactions, develop problem solving skills and nurture their creativity.
Come during open play times and explore our centre freely or book a class for a more structured and directed experience.
Open play is available during our regular business hours outside of any programs, private parties or special events.
We always recommend booking online in advance to ensure that open play is available and to secure your spot. However, we do accept walk-ins if there is space. If you are unable to book online, we recommend calling ahead to confirm.
There is no time limit for open play within our business hours and outside of programs, private parties or special events. Stay for 30 minutes or stay for 3 hours!
All our memberships include open play.
Grown ups are required to stay at Club Ned while their child plays. We always encourage caregivers to engage and participate with their little one, however we do have a comfortable seating area at the back where they can sit and relax while still able to observe.
There is limited room indoors for strollers, so we recommend leaving them in your car or outside, if possible.
The entry fee for a child includes entry for one adult. If there are 2 caregivers bringing 1 child, then we charge $5 for the additional adult. This helps us keep our capacity.
Yes! You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks! Our only ask is that they are nut free and that they are consumed in the back seating area.
We have a Nespresso Machine with coffee available for caregivers.
Yes! We have free WIFI for our guests. It’s the prefect place to come and get some work done while your child plays.
Club Ned, while a play on Club Med, is also little inside joke with our family. Our grandparents were immigrants from Ukraine and didn’t speak English when they arrived in Canada and their accents and phonetic reading led to some silly pronunciations of words where they would often add “ned” to the end of past tense verbs (e.g. “closed” was pronounced “close-ed-ned”). We all lovingly called this “speaking ned” and ended up calling our childhood property “de Vaal’s Club Ned”. As a family business, we couldn’t imagine using any other name.
Birthday Parties
Yes! We love hosting birthday parties at Club Ned!
Private use of Club Ned for 2 hours, with up to 20 kids (unlimited adults and infants under the age of 1). All activities are open and available. Party hosts have access to Club Ned 30 minutes prior to the party for any set up required and are then only responsible for whatever they are taking home. Club Ned handles all of the clean up!
Yes! We do not currently have a package that provided food for the party. There are number of places nearby that have options such as pizza or catering that we’re happy to help you find.
The only fridge we have available is for milk and cream for our coffee bar, so we recommend bringing a cooler if you need to keep anything cold.
